Standtall Africa Initiative (STAi)
Standtall Africa Initiative (STAi) is a fully registered, strategy-driven non-governmental organization committed to advancing literacy, research excellence, leadership development, entrepreneurship, peacebuilding, and sustainable development in Nigeria and across Africa. Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and relevant regulatory bodies, STAi operates as a continental platform for educational transformation and nation-building.
For over seven years, we have led a structured 10-Year Effective Reading and Research Campaign designed to revive Africa’s reading culture, strengthen institutions, empower educators, and position knowledge as the foundation of long-term development.

Our Core Focus Areas
Standtall Africa Initiative operates at the intersection of education, research, leadership, and national development. Our core pillars include:
1. Literacy & Reading Culture Revival
We are leading one of Africa’s most ambitious literacy movements through book distribution, library development, reading competitions, scholarships, and community-based campaigns that promote a lifelong culture of reading.
2. Educator Empowerment & Professional Development
Through the African Forum for Innovative Teachers (AFFiT), we identify, celebrate, train, mentor, and economically empower teachers. Our programs include certified CPD trainings, scholarships, research grants, cooperative financing, mental health support, job placement services, and leadership recognition platforms.
3. Research & Policy Development
Our STAi Research Centres function as strategic think tanks addressing peace studies, traditional leadership, entrepreneurship, climate protection, national security, technological innovation, and creative industry development. We fund research projects that generate evidence-based solutions for governance and sustainable development.
4. Leadership, Peace & Nation-Building
We convene high-level conferences and summits that bring together policymakers, security agencies, academics, traditional rulers, and industry leaders to address Africa’s pressing socio-political and economic challenges.
5. Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship
Through grants, cooperative initiatives, vocational funding, and entrepreneurship support schemes, we help educators and communities build financial resilience while contributing to national productivity.

A nationwide intellectual engagement platform that encourages citizens between ages 10 and 80 to contribute knowledge-driven solutions to national issues through structured competitions and idea-based initiatives.
Teachers, Students & Lecturers Recognition Programs
We celebrate excellence in reading, research, and leadership through structured awards and competitive platforms that reward outstanding performance and innovation.
International Conferences & Summits
Our International Peace, Unity, and Nation-Building Conference and Annual International Economic Summit convene leaders across sectors to develop proactive strategies for peace, security, governance, and economic growth.
